Clean all areas assigned, including but not limited to vacuuming, scrubbing, sweeping, dusting, cleaning windows, sanitizing, restocking bathrooms, garbage removal, etc. Clean the cafeteria during and after breakfast and lunch. Substitute when needed to unlock gates, doors, and windows; turn on lights and prepare facility for instruction. Assist in setting up and breaking down facilities for events, meeting, and other school activities. Maintain a pleasant appearance of the grounds and building for the public. Knowledge and Skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Classroom and video platforms such as: Zoom or Teams. Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage the entire classroom. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Experience working in diverse communities and a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives. Demonstrated integrity and high standards in managing information in a confidential and professional manner. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer and/or related office equipment. Professional cleaning in various environmental conditions, including exposures to cleaning chemicals and dust. Ability to tolerate these conditions and follow safety guidelines to minimize risks.
