Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a thriving Local Authority, based Wales, which is in need of an experienced Principal Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their team. Role: Principal Contracts and Procurement Solicitor Location: Wales, hybrid working Contract Length: 3 months ongoing Rate of Pay: £55-£60ph umbrella The Role: Draft legislation on various different Commercial Contracts matters Deal with caseloads on Commercial Contracts matters from start to completion To assist with the investigation of complaints relating to Commercial Contracts matters To contribute to the positive and well managed running of the Council’s legal team The Person: Someone with a minimum of 5 years PQE in Commercial Contracts and Procurement Law Ideally someone with at least 3 years of experience working within a Local Authority Someone with current, hands on experience of drafting legislation Experience of drafting construction contracts NEC/JCT and related documents would be ideal Someone who is able to proactively contribute to the successful running of the team Benefits: Hybrid working Flexible hours Weekly pay If this Contracts and Procurement Solicitor sounds like an opportunity that is right for you or someone you know, then don't hesitate to get in touch with Hugh Barnes via email, , or via phone at 0177xyzxyz.
