As the Deputy Chief, Collections Optimization Branch you will supervise multiple projects focused on initiatives to sustain, enhance and design Multi-INT synchronization activities for Intelligence Community (IC) clients. Work closely with users, developers and key stakeholders to direct teams charged wit the integration of multi-INT capabilities in to executable multi-INT synchronization strategies. You will lead the evaluation of new, unique and innovative multi-INT data application concepts, techniques and technologies for application into multi-INT synchronization and data discovery activities. Leverage IC expertise in analytical, technical and collaborative work to enable multi-INT requirements generation, multi-INT tactics, techniques and procedures development, multi-INT data discovery and multi-INT concept of operations development to meet mission tasks and objectives. Work independently and in a team environment to provide analytic, collection and technical support focused on the development of new capabilities against difficult intelligence problems. What You Will Be Doing As a SENTIENT Mission Supervisor (Collections Optimization Branch Deputy) at ADF-C, you’ll work with mission partners and end users understand their operational landscape and mission environment in an effort to inform and enable the use of SENTIENT Ops. You’ll gain an understanding of the various collection platforms as you explore new data sources, craft effective queries and combine information from disparate sources. You’ll learn to apply client tradecraft as you help build collection strategies for optimizing National Technical Means (NTM) assets. Additionally, you will be involved in driving integration of key Ops Floor elements to drive efficiencies across the TCPED cycle. This is a chance to define your Multi-INT expertise, develop new skills in collection management, sense-making, data modeling and share your skills with other analysts. You will focus on growing a team to deliver the best support and help define and the critical needs of the IC. What You Need Knowledge of the capabilities and operations employment of one or more intelligence fields. Knowledge of NTM architecture and capabilities. Knowledge of current intelligence systems and tools. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) organizations, missions, relevant policies, processes. Ability to interact with all levels of client and mission partners. Ability to be self-motivated to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to be flexible to changing situations. Highly Desired Experience with Combatant Command operations, including analysis, collection management and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities and force disposition. BA or BS degree and 6 years of experience with mission management. MA or MS degree and 3 years with mission management. 7+ years of experience with the IC. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform and is typically in or directly related to the duties of the position as described above. Experience must be reflected in your resume. Rotational Assignment This position requires a three-year rotational assignment agreement with possible extensions of two-years. Approved extensions will be in one-year increments based on mission requirements. At the conclusion of the rotational assignment, the position’s occupant will be required to relocate to NRO Headquarters, Chantilly, VA or another acceptable assignment within the NRO. Other Information Overtime Statement: MAY be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Travel Statement: MAY be required to travel in military or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments. Financial Disclosure: MAY be required to file an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and will be required to file annually. Location Aurora, CO Telework is not available and you must be able to work at the specified location(s). Salary 2024 salary range for the Denver, CO area: GG-12: $96,684 – $125,685 GG-13: $114,970 – $149,465 **This position is a full performance level DCIPS position. The NRO is accepting applications from U.S. Citizens and current federal government employees for this position. To qualify for the position, federal government employees MUST currently be at the GG-12 or GG-13 grade level and may ONLY apply for a lateral reassignment at their current grade level and step. Hiring Incentives The NRO may offer hiring incentives and other entitlements at management’s discretion. Trial Period All new DCIPS employees will be required to serve a 2-year trial period.
