Summary Temple Emanu-El's Early Childhood Education Program of Westfield is seeking Head Teachers for the 2024-25 school year for ages 2-4. Hours are Monday-Friday 8-4:30 (some flexibility). Must have a Bachelor's degree in Education or be a licensed certified teacher.We offer a variety of benefits including health insurance and retirement plan (we contribute 3% of salary annually), personal time off, paid holidaysSeptember 2024-June 2025 school year. Duties Responsible for developing, managing, and implementing daily activities Ongoing communication with families Collaborate with colleagues on a regular basis attend professional development Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or licensed certified teacher A love for young children Ability to work well with others Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills A strong understanding of child development Must clear full background check and must pass health screening. Nice To Haves Minimum of 1-2 years Head Teacher experience Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
