The office is within walking distance to shopping, dining and special events with free parking and transportation from the CTA Blue Line. While we will continue to offer a flexible work schedule, we are only considering candidates who are enthusiastic about being in the office to collaborate with their colleagues 2-3 days per week. As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a skilled Proposal & Marketing Associate to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: As our Proposal & Marketing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our proposal and marketing departments through meticulous proposal development and document coordination. Your role will require a keen attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of brand quality in our proposals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Proposal Support & Coordination: Assist with the coordination of persuasive, quality proposals by: organizing tasks and action items for pursuit teams following RFP requirements importing, writing, and editing content, including technical subject matter formatting page layouts in Adobe InDesign, requiring intermediate print layout design skills Support management and technical staff in pre-positioning activities, including planning, strategy development, and team arrangements as a member of the pursuit team Support presentation development and interview prep sessions Organize registrations for business development events including networking events, conferences, and sponsorships Organize team efforts regarding administrative and graphic design tasks that support marketing activities, with proficiency in content creation, social media management, and a basic understanding of marketing analytics tools Track and report metrics on proposal activities using ASANA Schedule and participate in proposal/presentation draft review meetings Coordinate various logistics, manage the production of pitch drafts and oversee version control Update the CRM database with project and proposal information on an ongoing basis Develop and maintain proposal material (content, resumes, case studies, images, testimonials) Other relevant duties as assigned 2. Marketing: On an as-needed basis: Support collaboration between Proposal and Marketing Teams for business development initiatives Participate in and contribute to discussions and planning around marketing strategy as it relates to business development Gather required documentation, content and approval for award submissions Coordinate, write, edit and produce marketing collateral and other related duties Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies Serve as one of the firm’s brand ambassadors (ensure compliance with brand guidelines for consistency) Position Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or english required 2+ years of related experience with proposals Previous experience reading and analyzing requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for qualifications (RFQs) Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and customer relationship management databases (i.e., Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint) A demonstrated history of managing multiple deadlines and projects A positive and results-oriented attitude A personable and solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to interface with leadership and the executive team Strong attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading abilities Superior organizational skills and deadline- orientation to execute multiple tasks Ability to collaborate across various teams/departments to complete projects Ability to think critically, work independently, and manage time efficiently Willingness to take on other tasks as required and to accept constructive feedback Experience with Asset Management tools is a plus Must be able to attend in-person events as needed Must be located in the Chicagoland area and be able to work a hybrid work schedule, requiring 2-3 days per week in the Morreale office Commitment to Morreale Core Values  View our Core Values video  here !   Our core values represent the beliefs, philosophies and principles that define who we are and how we do business.
